True story: last night I had a portalock dream.
Sherlock was somehow was captured as a test subject for Aperture. Don’t know how- he was just taken for science or something.
Then John went off to rescue Sherlock! John didn’t know what had happened to Sherlock, he just knew he was in trouble.
While he was in aperture laboratories, John ran into another test subject, Mary, who needed a bit of help escaping as well. Not because she couldn’t do it/couldn’t figure out the puzzles. She was actually really good. but she lost her portal gun and seriously couldn’t do anything without one. (which makes the tests extra tricky if you only have one gun for two people.)
Last thing I remember is John and Mary narrowly escaping the baking and GLaDOS being freaking PEEVED (turrets EVERYWHERE) since now there were THREE people walking around behind the scenes of Aperture (oh! Sherlock escaped too! Sweet!) And John was just awesome. And yes.
Portalock makes no sense.
But I’m not arguing it. hahaha
